GPBR is a Michigan-based REALTOR® association affiliated with the National Association of REALTORS® (“NAR”).
2. Use of Website & International Access
This Website is operated from the United States and is intended primarily for users located within the United States. However, it may be accessed by users internationally.
If you access the Website from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws. GPBR makes no representation that the Website or its services are appropriate or available for use in jurisdictions outside the United States.
You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted areas
- Not interfere with the security or operation of the Website

3. Membership Applications & Requirements
3.1 Eligibility
Membership is subject to approval in accordance with criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS® and GPBR policies. Certain membership categories require that a firm’s broker/owner already holds membership with GPBR.
To establish REALTOR® membership, applicants must maintain a valid Michigan real estate license or appraiser license.
3.2 Professional Conduct Requirements
Members are required to comply with:
- National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics
- NAR Code of Ethics Training requirements
- NAR Fair Housing Training requirements
- NAR New Member Orientation requirements
- Any additional compliance standards established by NAR or GPBR
- The GPBR Harassment Policy
3.3 Suspension or Revocation
Membership may be suspended or revoked due to:
- Failure to comply with professional conduct or training requirements
- Late payment or non-payment of dues
- Lapse, expiration, suspension, or cancellation of a valid Michigan real estate or appraiser license
- Violations of GPBR or NAR policies
4. Dues, Fees & Payments
4.1 Payment Processing
Payments made through the Website are processed via Authorize.net and/or the National Association of REALTORS® E-Commerce payment platform. GPBR does not store full credit card information on its servers.
4.2 Currency
All fees, dues, registrations, sponsorships, donations, and merchandise purchases are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD).
Users are responsible for any currency conversion fees, foreign transaction fees, taxes, duties, or additional charges imposed by their financial institution or governmental authority.
4.3 Membership Dues
All membership dues are non-refundable once paid.
4.4 Event & Class Registrations
Event and class registration fees may be eligible for a refund if:
- A written request is submitted in advance
- The request is sent via email or regular mail
- The request complies with any event-specific cancellation policy
GPBR reserves the right to determine refund eligibility in accordance with published policies.
4.5 Sponsorships & Donations
Sponsorship purchases and donations are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing.
5. Educational Programs & Events
GPBR offers educational programs and events both in person and online. GPBR reserves the right to:
- Modify instructors, speakers, locations, or schedules
- Cancel or reschedule events
- Deny participation for non-compliance with event policies

6. Member Portal & Directory
Certain areas of the Website are restricted to members.
Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials. GPBR is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from failure to safeguard credentials.
The Member Directory is intended solely for legitimate professional networking purposes. Use of directory information for spam, mass solicitation, or unauthorized marketing is strictly prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
All Website content, including but not limited to:
- Logos
- Graphics
- Text
- Educational materials
- Documents
- Website design and layout
is the property of GPBR or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The GPBR logo(s) may be used only with express written permission from a member of the GPBR Management Team.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use of Website content is prohibited.
8. User-Submitted Content
All public-facing and/or member-facing online content is subject to review and approval by a member of the GPBR Management Team.
By submitting content, you grant GPBR a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with association operations.
GPBR reserves the right to remove any content deemed inappropriate, inaccurate, unlawful, or inconsistent with association standards.
9. Merchandise Sales
GPBR may offer products or merchandise for sale through the Website. All sales are subject to availability.
GPBR reserves the right to:
- Modify pricing
- Correct errors in product descriptions
- Cancel orders when necessary
