Grosse Pointe Board of REALTORS® Non-Refundable Dues Policy
Effective Date: October 1, 2026
All membership dues and fees paid to the Grosse Pointe Board of REALTORS® (GPBR) are non-refundable once payment has been submitted. This policy applies to all membership-related dues, fees, and charges, including, but not limited to:
- GPBR (Grosse Pointe Board of REALTORS®) local dues
- MR (Michigan REALTORS®) state dues
- NAR (National Association of REALTORS®) national dues
- Application fees
- Enrollment fees
- Late fees
- Reinstatement fees
- Declined payment fees
GPBR is committed to being a responsible steward of membership dues. As applicable, GPBR will remit state and national dues to the appropriate entities in accordance with its obligations.
Member Responsibility Prior to Payment
Before submitting any payment, members and applicants are encouraged to consult with a member of the GPBR Management Team and/or their brokerage personnel to confirm the applicable membership status, dues, fees, invoice amount(s), and payment obligations.
By submitting payment, the member or applicant acknowledges and accepts the applicable invoice amount(s) and payment terms in effect at the time of joining, renewing, or otherwise maintaining membership with GPBR.
Installment Payment Program (IPP)
GPBR offers an Installment Payment Program (IPP) as a payment convenience for eligible members whose brokerages participate in the program. The IPP allows members to make payments toward eligible open dues invoice(s) in monthly installments.
The IPP is not a month-to-month membership option. Rather, it provides a convenient way to divide the amount due on a full dues invoice, or invoices, for a specified membership term or terms into smaller payments.
Membership dues and fees remain subject to the terms of the applicable invoice and this Non-Refundable Dues Policy regardless of whether payment is made in installments.
If a member departs from GPBR before paying the full balance of any outstanding dues invoice(s), including any applicable fees, the member may be required to pay some or all of the outstanding balance before rejoining GPBR or reinstating membership.
