As we come into the holiday season this is the perfect time for the YPN and general membership to give back by hosting our First Annual Saturday Skating with Santa event at the St Clair Shores Civic Arena. Elementary school students from schools in the Harper Woods, Roseville, Eastpointe, St. Clair Shores, and Grosse Pointe public schools will be invited to attend with all of the following provided at no cost:
- Skate rental & time on the ice skating with Santa
- Hot cocoa bar
- Holiday craft
- Fun photo opportunity
In the spirit of the holiday season, YPN will be donating all proceeds to the Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team. Better known as MCREST, this organization has a facility in Mt Clemens that houses up to 45 women and children providing temporary housing, food, educational resources, clothing, job training and placement.
Members who may not be available to attend the event are able to participate by donating new articles of warm clothing for MCREST. If you would like to have the YPN provide a collection box for warm winter gear at your office please sign up below.
